Mine oh my… heheheh… i lived to a ripe old age of 28 on Tuesday… always have mixed feelings about my bday cos partly it’s in dec holidays and i dun get pressies when i was in school… but i love my bday cos dec season is cool and nice…
well, for my 28th bday, mr chin was not able to take leave that day… thus, decided to engage the services of my mum and dad as shopping companions… took leave on both tuesday and wednesday… as usual, my off days are filled to the brim!
Here’s what we did from 8am to 7pm on Tuesday:
- 8am – since i was on leave, i thought i can bring Rossi to school which i dun normally do. However, he inisit that MIL come along… i was jealous lah to be honest but what the heck… thus, we walked to school together… i went in to his school to pay his fees for dec… rossi was removing his shoes outside… all of a sudden, he asked MIL – ‘Wo yao gen mama zou ma?” (am i leaving with mummy? and he started to wear his shoes again) guess he knew that i wasnt going to work and wanna leave with me… we ignored his cries and thought that he will be fine… he ended up crying loudly etc and apparently, he threw up his milk cos he cried too much and had to change his clothes… sighz…
- 9-9.30 am – Met up with my parents at Ya Kun @ Tampines Mall and eat breakie there…
- 9.30-10am – Took MRT to Orchard and begin to shop…
- 10-11-15am – the shops are not open yet!!! ergggg, walked to Paragon instead
- 11.15-12pm – Went to Tangs to check out the Thermos thermal pot
- 12-1.30pm – Took a bus down to Robinsons, bought Ross’ present from Ryan (Thomas the train set), toiletries, a shirt for Mr chin, Mum bought a pair of shoes for Ross’ for CNY (ermmm, mum is official sponsor for Ross’ shoes which explains why if you see his shoes)… Robinsons having 20% off thus, the big shopping spree there…
- 1.30-3pm – Took cab to Chinatown, Pearl Centre, for lunch…
- 3-5pm – Maid agency at People’s Park Complex, was trying to select a helper…
- 5-6pm – OG, but 2 sets of clothes for #2…
- 7pm – HOME SWEET HOME…
sighz… went back home and called up the maids that i have selected… but gosh, their requirements are so high… $380 with 1 day off, wanna a room and HP!!! kill me… decided to look for indonesian helper the next day…
Here’s what we did from 8am to 7pm on Wednesday:
- 8am – Decided to leave with Mr Chin instead of bringing Ross to school cos scared that he will cry again… Mr chin sent me to Panasonic HQ to get our camera repaired.. Ross dropped the camera on the floor… sighz… was too early and ended eating breakie at the hawker near Redhill
- 9-930am – need to spend at least $200 for camera repair, decided not to go ahead with it… cos cant get hold of mr chin…
- 9.30-1030am – took a bus to Chinatown cos tot maid agency was opened already… in the end, it wasnt and ended up taking MRT to United Square
- 10.30-12pm – Was at UE square, finally found nursing bra that i can wear and with good support… hehehe… and new maternity briefs… sighz… those that i bought from thyme are too big… they get bigger with every wash…
- 12-2.30pm – went to the employment agency and gotten a transfer helper instead
- 2.30-3pm – had dessert with mr chin (who took half day leave) at the famous dessert shop near lucky chinatown
- 3-5pm – Bugis Junction… had a walk with Mr Chin
- 5-5.30pm – Lunch at fortune centre
- 5.30-6pm – Home sweet home…
and by the 2nd day, i am utterly exhausted… to be very honest… sighz…

Yeah, alot of my friends had commented the same thing about him looking so much like me.. 
Oh.. I chose B2+ this time round because they mentioned that it is a highly subsidized ward, very similar to B1 except that there is no personal tv this time..
So i thought since so much cheaper & so similar to B1 then why not take it lor..
Anyway, I was also very surprised that the service in B2+ is so much better than B1.. Mayb more pple opt for it I guess..
Yeah.. the low amniotic fluid thing seems to be very common w alot of preggy ladies these days.. especially for subsequent child..
But not to worry la, just take things as they come..

I was also very surprised that I had an earlier than expected delivery too..

Hihi!! U are back fm yr short break! How was it? The car bed is really cute.. Did considered getting one for my older son, Shawn too.. But by the time I decided, he outgrow it already.. Hahaha!
Oh! We got the crib lights & the mobile from The Early Years shop located on the 1st floor of KK hospital..
Really like them alot as they really come in very handy..
Hehe.. Yeah.. Breastfeeding is indeed no joke.. But I guess I was prepared for it mentally, emotionally, physically etc etc etc already la.. So mayb that’s why I still got stamina lor..

Trip is ok but tiring… very tired these few days… i see… will try to look for the lights… sighz… i dunno if bfg #2 will be ok… keeping fingers crossed… stamina? i wanna die liao… LOL… but really hoping bb will arrive late or on time… sighz… these few days can feel bb getting lower
Yeah.. I understand.. It is very normal during the last trimester that you will feel more tired easily..
I remember during the last few wks before delivering, the baby was so low tat when I walk for a distance I’ll feel tired already..
Try to get at much rest as possible these days.. You will definitely need as much as possible..
Don’t think so much..
In regards to breastfeeding, I realize (and it is also mentioned in books on breastfeeding) the more positive you are, the more confident (even if you may not be, try to be as much as possible) you are, the more relaxed you are, the more breastmilk you are gonna have..
Trust me! It works extremely accurate for me this time round..
I have so much more breastmilk now then when I had my 1st son..
So much so that I’m totally breastfeeding him (good for my hubby, he save alot of $.. Haha!)
So much that i leak everyday.. (got to buy lotsa boxes of nursing pads) :S
I believe it is also possible for you..

I’m a little bored with the 2nd one so far..
3/4 of the 2nd book is about werewolves.. :/

I’ve read his Da Vinci Code.. So much better than the movie itself..
