Ever wonder why is the weather so hot recently?
Why? Why? Why?
I am sure all of us knows why… Just that in the midst of the rat race, we do not wish to acknowledge that we indeed have a problem at hand… or perhaps it is not that important to us than our family and work… or perhaps, the govt is in a better position to handle and solve these issues… if the govt cant solve this problem, how can we?
Is the above true?

A spate of hot weather isn’t proof of global warming, any more than a spate of cold weather is disproof.
Global warming is about the long-term trend globally, not about the short-term events locally. To put it another way: just because the climate changes doesn’t mean we won’t still have weather.
Isolated short-term events aside, the evidence is overwhelming that global warming is real, it’s man-made, and it’s dangerous. And it’s not generations away; it’s only one generation away. In my opinion it’s the greatest threat to the future happiness of that beautiful child in the banner photo (who I presume is your own).
Certainly governments are better poised to address the problem than individuals. BUT: there’s a massive campaign of disinformation designed to paralyze any government action. One of the most effective things you can do is to let your politicians know that you’re not going to take it lying down; you should especially write to your Senators and tell them that if they fail to support passage of the Waxman-Markey bill (which has passed the house), you’ll be voting for their opponents in the next election.
Include a photo of your baby. That’s what’s at stake.
You can do things privately as well, but since you’re a vegetarian you’re already well on the way. Conserve energy wherever possible.
